The company was born on 4rd January 1971 (individual holding) converting later in unlimited company on the 26th September 1985, the gained experience and the acquisition of advanced technologies have taken the company Borghi at levels of excellence. The specialization in the design and construction of dies and equipments for the metal sheet cold deformation are the technological basis that have concurred to widen the activity to other fields.

In 1992 through an international research the company has begun the development of idle steer axles for forklifts and airport tractors. The production has begun by the end of 1996, the innovation and the quality has conquered in a short time the markets of all the world. Beginning from this first experience and taking always advantage of the most modern design technologies the company could develop a wide range of products beginning from the idle steer axles with solutions covered by patents, the company is infact present in many European and Extra-European countries with beyond 70% of the production. Since 2003 it is possible to apply to our axles a device of risk limitation in order to increase the safety of the means on which our axles are applied.

Since 2009 Boghi Ivan s.n.c. has begun the development of motorized wheels with horizontal and vertical motor and at the same time it has begun the development of the axles with electric traction, after two years of development  the new products were introduced at the international fair of Hannover, in Germany, May 2011.

Our technical department is equipped with the most advanced systems for design and calculation with which it can face any demand from customers preparing special products for the single applications. Besides the quality control of the inbound and outbound components by means of automatic control systems ensure the product quality that emphasizes the seriousness of the company and supports the customer guaranteeing completely the choice and the preference given to the production “Ivan Borghi”.
